The main visual issue was a black spiral staircase with balusters and a rectangular surrounding wall.

The balusters and handrail were removed and painted white. The straight wall was replaced with a curved wall featuring niches and Zebrano shelves, fitted with dimmable LED spots.

A stainless-steel handrail completes the finish.
